Is The Big East FInished?

It is now being reported that the Big East is wooing Boise State to join the league. Big East football appears to be finished frankly. The remaining members should apply for membership to Conference USA or the ACC. A merger with either/or will create a "super conference'" with an automatic BCS bid. Hopefully this will sort itself out before next season begins and let us all hope that the BCS system becomes a thing of the past as soon as possibl. It is ruining college football.
